TV 2 Norway secures rights to the Premier League for the next three years

TV 2 Norway has secured the rights to the Premier League for the next three years.

"We are obviously very excited to continue working with the Premier League," says Managing Director and Editor in Chief of TV 2 Norway, Olav T. Sandnes.

TV 2 bought the rights to broadcast Premier League in Norway for the seasons 2016/2017 to 2018/2019. The rights apply to display on all platforms, both TV networks and mobile.

"TV 2 is the natural place of the Premier League. We will continue to bet heavily on the Premier League in the coming years and we will give our football fans the ultimate approach to this very popular league via TV 2 Premium and TV 2 Sumo, " says Olav T. Sandnes.

TV 2 has had the rights to the Premier League since 2010, and the new deal ensures that the Premier League will be on TV 2 until season 2018/2019.

TV 2 Norway is owned by Egmont and has public service obligations. TV 2 Norway is the main channel for the audience between 20-49 in Norway.
