"Tom Knutzen is a strategic thinker with extensive management and board experience. We are very pleased that he has agreed to join the board and as vice chairman contribute with his extensive knowledge and international insight," says Merete Eldrup, chairman of Egmont's board of directors.

"Egmont's long history reflects the ability to constantly develop in line with the outside world with strong values and entrepreneurship. This has created a leading Nordic media group while at the same time being a very important contributor to children and young people with difficult life circumstances. This dual purpose is both engaging and inspiring, and I look forward to being part of the board and contributing going forward," says Tom Knutzen.
