“In a changing media landscape, Egmont has managed to develop and adapt with a constant focus on the vision of telling good stories. At the same time, as a foundation, Egmont distributes a part of its profits to children and young people at risk. I look forward to contributing to this work through Egmont’s board,” says Eva Berneke.

Martin Enderle will be stepping down from Egmont’s board after 12 years due to seniority rules. With his extensive expertise in areas such as internet-based businesses, he has contributed to Egmont’s transformation and development since 2014.

“I would like to thank Martin Enderle for his work on Egmont’s board. Among other things, he has contributed to Egmont’s transformation towards larger consumer platforms and subscription-based businesses. At the same time, I would like to welcome Eva Berneke,” says Egmont’s chair Merete Eldrup.

With the above change, Egmont’s board will consist of: Chair Merete Eldrup, Vice Chair Tom Knutzen, Christian Wegner, Josh Bottomley, Rebekka Glasser Herlofsen, Eva Berneke and employee representatives Anna von Lowzow, Peder Høgild, Charlotte Arnø (Egmont International Holding A/S) and Christina Wester (Egmont Foundation).
