Norway’s largest magazine publisher, Egmont Publishing, will appoint a new CEO.
After nearly four years with digital transitions, new investments in growth businesses and focus on operational excellence, Espen Asheim, the current CEO of Egmont Publishing Norway, has accepted a new role at FSN Capital.
”Espen Asheim has done a tremendous and successful job in Egmont Publishing,” said Torsten Bjerre Rasmussen, Chairman of the Board in Egmont Publishing Norway, “New digital businesses within marketing services and the influencer/blog area have been established and a solid operation in the company has been secured. I want to extend my gratitude to Espen Asheim for his remarkable effort and wish him the very best of luck going forward.”
The process of finding a new CEO for Egmont Publishing Norway is already under way.
”I have enjoyed my time in Egmont and this has been a very hard decision,” commented Espen Asheim, “ I will be working with FSN Capital’s exciting corporate portfolio of which I have some prior knowledge from the time when I worked as an Executive Advisor there. It is an opportunity that I simply could not pass on.”
Espen Asheim will leave Egmont Publishing Norway by the end of October 2018 and will at the same time step down as Board Member of Egmont owned TV 2 Norway.
