New CEO for Egmont Publishing Norway


January 1st, Nina Vesterby will join Egmont Publishing Norway as new CEO. She is 40 years old and comes from a position as CEO of HomeNet AS. Nina Vesterby will replace Espen Asheim who will join FSN Capital.

With the appointment of Nina Vesterby (40), Norway’s largest magazine publisher, Egmont Publishing, is welcoming a CEO with solid financial as well as commercial experience.

Nina Vesterby has had a strong career in the telecom industry with a number of leading positions. For the past six years,Nina Vesterby has been CEO of HomeNet AS, a division in the EQT owned Broadnet, in which she has also been a part of the top management. HomeNet delivers broadband to the consumer market and during the last years HomeNet has renewed its strategy and adjusted to the market with significant progress in turnover and revenue as a result.

Alongside the position as CEO Nina Vesterby has completed an MBA in Strategic Management from NHH Norwegian School of Economics.

Chairman of the Board in Egmont Publishing Norway, Torsten Bjerre Rasmussen,is looking forward to Nina Vesterby joining his management team in Egmont Publishing – one of four divisions in the Egmont media group.
