Senior Security Specialist

About the role
Egmont IT is looking for a Senior Security Specialist to join our Digital Trust team, the team responsible for IAM and Security across Egmont. In this role, you’ll help strengthen our small, close-knit team of four, which already includes a colleague fully dedicated to security.

What you’ll do
- Design, implement and continually optimize our Microsoft Defender XDR (Endpoint, Identity, Cloud, Office 365)
- Manage and develop response playbooks
- Continuously monitor and improve detections in Microsoft Sentinel
- Strengthen our security posture with vendors such as Azure, AWS, and GCP
- Contribute to internal policy frameworks and security guidelines to ensure security by design for other departments within Egmont IT.

What you’ll bring
- Fluency in English and at least one of the Scandinavian languages.
- A strong background in IT security.
- Background in applications or software development is preferred over pure infrastructure as to better augment the existing team
- Strong hands-on expertise across Microsoft security and identity

You should be experienced with as many as possible of the following areas
- M365 Security
- Entra / IAM Administration
- Threat Management
- Vulnerability Scanning
- DNS
- Certificates
- Infrastructure as Code
- M365 Multi-Tenant management
