Torsten Bjerre Rasmussen new Executive Vice President of Egmont Magazines

As of July 1st Torsten Bjerre Rasmussen will take up the position as Executive Vice President of Egmont Magazines thereby becoming a member of the Egmont group management.

He will be relieving Kjeld Lucas, who after 25 years with Egmont Magazines, has chosen to prioritise a more flexible work life.

Torsten Bjerre Rasmussen will be in charge of Egmont's magazine companies, which operates in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. Egmont Magazines has more than 1,000 employees and a turnover of 2 billion DKK. Egmont Magazines is one of the leading magazine publishers in Scandinavia with more than 100 titles in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. Egmont Magazines is responsible for magazine titles such as ALT for damerne, Eurowoman, Euroman, Hjemmet, Norsk UkeBlad, Kamille, Her og Nå, Vi Menn, King, Classic Motor and many more.

Torsten Bjerre Rasmussen, 41, is currently the Executive Vice President for the Danish media company JP/Politikens Hus. In 1998 he was employed by the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten as manager of ad sales and was since appointed Executive Manager of ad sales and Manager of electronic media. After the merge between Jyllands-Posten(JP) and Politikens Hus he was appointed Executive Magazine Manager for Jyllands-Posten, then manager of the newspaper 24timer, and in 2007 he became a member of JP/Politikens Hus' executive management. Before 1998 Torsten Bjerre Rasmussen was employed by AGA.
