Nordisk Film Builds New Danish Cinema

In the fall of 2009, Nordisk Film Cinemas will open the doors to a brand new cinema complex in Jutland with six movie theaters.

The new cinema will be located on Thors Bakke in the Jutland town of Randers which is the sixth largest city in Denmark. The new complex will feature more than 900 seats – including a grand theater of 328 seats. The foyer will be large and light and there will be both a kiosk and a nice café. The new cinema complex has been on its way for a long time, but it is not until recently that the right place for the cinema showed up.

Nordisk Film is the leading cinema operator in the Danish movie business, which sells a million movie tickets a month on average. In the past two years alone, Nordisk Film Cinemas have established itself in four Danish towns. With the new complex, the total comes to 117 theaters and 18,126 seats in Denmark and Norway.Nordisk Film Cinemas opens its doors to movie enthusiasts daily in 12 Danish locations, and in their cinemas Drammen near Oslo, Norway.
