Jaana Lindvall-Harki new head of Egmont Kustannus Oy Ab in Finland

As of August 1 Jaana Lindvall-Harki (48) will take up the position as Managing Director of Egmont Kustannus Oy Ab. She will be relieving Marjaana Tulosmaa, who decided to retire from January 1, 2011.

Jaana Lindvall-Harki will be in charge of the children's' publishing house with its strong profiles of children's magazines and activity products. She will also become a member of the Nordic regional management of Egmont Kids Media. Egmont Kustannus Oy Ab and its company Kirjalito has 59 employees, and a turnover of EUR 19,3 million (year 2009). Egmont Kustannus Oy Ab is responsible for titles such as Muumi, Asterix, Hevoshullu, Hello Kitty and Barbie.

Jaana Lindvall-Harki (48) has worked for Sanoma News Oy since 1985, with a career in development moving from information/PR, to sales manager, to sales director and today's position as Vice President of Media Sales in Sanoma News Oy/Helsingin Sanomat.
