Before I Go to Sleep is S.J. Watson's first novel and was published in the UK a year ago. Since then is has been at the top of almost every best-seller lists and has won both Crime & Thriller of the Year Award and John Creasy New Blood Dagger Award (debutant award), which are awarded by the Crime Writers Association.

The book is sold to 42 countries so far, and is currently a big hit en Australia, USA, France, Germany, Netherlands, Taiwan and China. Ridley Scotts Production Company has bought the movie-rights for the book.
