H.C. Andersen - fairy tales on stage

The new H.C. Andersen Live show from Nordisk Film Live is getting rave reviews from critics as well as enthusiastic applause from the audience. Not often does a show appeal to both children and grown-ups of all ages, but H.C. Andersen bridges the gap, seemingly without effort.

Nordisk Film Live has teamed up with Steen Koerner and his production company Big City Brains.

Together they have created a magnificent fairy tale show from seven of Hans Christian Andersen's best stories. The world famous fairy tales come to life in a magical world of theater, film, dance, music and 3D animations.

Hand Christian Andersen's original texts set the framework when 15 world-class artists enter the stage in a outstanding digital video scenography. The show consists of: "The Little Match Girl", "Clumsy Hans," "The Nightingale," "Sweethearts," "Princess and the Pea," "The Emperor's New Clothes" and "The Ugly Duckling". And they are told in a poetic, contemporary and imaginative way unlike ever seen before.

The show plays until October 27th. in the Tivoli Concert Hall.
