Emmy nomination for Norwegian TV series ”Ping-pong”

- NRK is both happy and proud. The nomination is yet another confirmation of the fact that NRK is among the best in the world when is comes to producing children and youth programs, says acting Head of Programmes in NRK, Kalle Fürst.

"Ping-pong" is about an adopted girl, Catia, and her search for her own identity. Catia has a passion for table tennis. Her biggest dream in life is to go to China so she works hard to qualify for an international table tennis tournament in Beijing.

"Pingpong" was broadcast earlier this year on NRK.

Arthur Johansen wrote the script, Lisa Marie Gamlem directed the series and Jeanette Sundby from Nordisk Film was in charge of the production.
