Egmont appoints new legal director

Helle Bjørnskov Fischer (44) joins Egmont on 1 April 2014 as legal director of Egmont's corporate legal department. She is presently employed as VP Group Legal at Carlsberg.

Helle Bjørnskov Fischer is a lawyer and apart from her Master of Law degree from Copenhagen University, she holds an LLM International & European Law from Vrije Universiteit Brussels, Belgium along with a BCom in Finance. Helle Bjørnskov Fischer was for a number of year's an associate attorney at the law firm Gorrissen Federspiel Kierkegaard and subsequently at the law firm Ashurst in Brussels.

Helle Bjørnskov Fischer is presently employed as Company Secretary & VP Group Legal, Corporate and Compliance at Carlsberg. She joins Egmont as legal director, VP, of Corporate Legal.

Helle Bjørnskov Fischer succeeds attorney Karl Skovbæch Pedersen (67), who after more than 35 years in Egmont's service will switch to a more flexible work life. "Karl Skovbæch Pedersen has rendered Egmont a priceless effort over the decades, for which I am extremely grateful," says CEO Steffen Kragh.

Helle Bjørnskov Fischer joins Egmont on 1 April 2014.
