A Royal Affair and Kon-Tiki have been nominated for a Golden Globe

When The Golden Globe Awards takes place on January 10th both A Royal Affair and Kon-Tiki have been nominated in the category "Best Foreign Language Film".

When the Golden Globe takes place on 10 January, Nordisk Film contributes with two titles in the category "Best Foreign Film". Both A Royal Affair and Kon-Tiki  are also candidates for an Oscar and has been nominated in the distinguished company of Amour, The Untouchables and Rust and Bone.

​The Golden Globe Awards marks the recognition of excellence in film and TV and is presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Celebrating its 70th anniversary, the ceremony will be held on Sunday January 10th – two days before the Academy Award nominations are announced.

Starring Mads Mikkelsen, Alicia Vikander and Mikkel Boe Følsgaard, A Royal Affair opened in US on November 11th with distributor Magnolia on board. It has already won the Audience Award in the World Cinema category at the AFI Fest and has been nominated for a Critics' Choice Movie Award and three Satellite Awards for Best Foreign Film.A Royal Affair is distributed by Nordisk Film and is Denmark's official entry for the Oscars.

Kon-Tiki tells the compelling story about choosing the adventure and doing what you believe in - even when everyone else says it's impossible. Kon-Tiki  is produced by Nordisk Film and is Norway's official Oscar-entry.
