Danish social marketing agency Patchwork has established its name with clients such as MARS, Arla, Bosch and PepsiCo. Now Egmont Publishing invests in the company and takes another step into the market for content marketing
Egmont Publishing invests in the talented Danish social marketing agency Patchwork. The agency provides strategic consulting, concept development and digital campaigns for some of the biggest consumer brands in Scandinavia such as Mars, Spotify, Arla, Fiat, Bosch and PepsiCo.
Among Patchwork’s recent digital campaigns are the relaunch of the chocolate bar RAIDER and the introduction of the supermarket chain Meny’s new way of shopping.
Patchwork was founded in 2008, and the agency now counts about 50 employees located at offices in Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo. Growth ambitions thrive in both agency and the new investor:
"Patchwork has an expansive business plan and a competent and dedicated management team. It is a talented business, and we see significant potential in the investment. We enter a growth market, and the investment is part of Egmont Publishing's overall content marketing strategy," says Managing Director of Egmont Publishing Denmark, Klaus Høeg-Hagensen.
Patchwork is pleased with the agreement with the new co-owner.
"Egmont Publishing's investment is a recognition of our way of working. They know the value of good content, and they are a major player. Both elements fit perfectly into our growth plans, and we look forward to future cooperation," says CEO of Patchwork Group, Martin Olesen.
Patchwork continues as an independent company, but now with even better conditions for expansion:
"We are confident that together we can create the necessary growth to place Patchwork among the leading players in the market," says Klaus Høeg-Hagensen.
