Editor Mette Barfod is very proud of the second issue of RUM International, where editors have once again gained access to amazing homes around the world.

In this new issue RUM has visited a family living in a historic townhouse with a unique view of the towers of Copenhagen. Furthermore, RUM takes the reader to Lake Como in Italy, where four generations of the design family Sarfatti enjoy gathering in their cozy cottage full of stories and furniture icons.

In New York RUM is invited by the successful US duo of lamp designers from Apparatus, who have created a stylish world of art, lighting design and vintage furniture in their new enormous showroom.

Three cool women
In addition to the international news report, the April issue offers interviews with the three cool female artists Ana Kraš, Cathrine Raben Davidsen and Evren Tekinoktay at their workshops in respectively Manhattan, Inner Copenhagen and Østerbro.

"It's fantastic to experience the international interest in our magazine. We get inquiries from around the world, and we are present in the right places in both Milan, Berlin, London and New York, where the major lifestyle magazines are sold," says the editor in chief.

Second edition
The international success of the first issue of RUM was so overwhelming that Egmont Publishing had to press an additional edition - a positive surprise in a tight print market.

RUM International can be found in 26 countries among others at Barnes & Noble (US), WHSmith (UK), Selfridges (UK), Papercut (Stockholm) Do you read me? (Berlin), Corso Como (Milan), Armani Libri (Milan), Tsutaya Books Tsite (Tokyo) Design Republic (Shanghai) and CasaShop in Copenhagen.

The magazine of 264 pages is available on March 16.
