Much more than a fashion magazine

Our monthly magazine Eurowoman inspires women who love fashion and culture while introducing readers to important trends. Therefore, the magazine also focuses on feminism.

Strong stories

"Eurowoman has always been much more than a fashion magazine. We really want to inspire and challenge and bring those conversations into the magazine," states Editor-in-Chief Anne Lose. For the magazine, it is important to focus on feminism because it is a central part of understanding and challenging the structural norms that affect our everyday lives and society. That is why Eurowoman focuses on feminism and gender equality in the magazine every month.

"It has become an important part of our DNA, and we sow small seeds in all issues of Eurowoman," says Anne Lose.

There will always be elements and articles that deal with feminism and gender equality, and in selected issues it will be a recurring theme throughout the magazine. Most recently, gender sociologist and author Cecilie Nørgaard was a guest editor focusing on living a feminist life, and previously author Emma Holten has contributed with a focus on feminist economics.

Gender equality and feminism will continue to be on the drawing board for the Eurowoman editorial staff, who like to take chances and challenge the traditional fashion magazine format. And the reception shows that the readers want it.

"Highlighting feminism in Eurowoman is a way to allow our readers to reflect on their own lives and the systems they are a part of, which can lead to personal growth and societal change," says Anne Lose.
