Artificial intelligence and learning materials go hand in hand
Praxis is actively working with artificial intelligence and is the first publisher in Denmark to implement a chatbot in their web books, to help students navigate and search their learning materials.
Our publishing house Praxis, part of Lindhardt og Ringhof, has really embraced AI as a useful tool in the world of education. As a developer and publisher of learning materials, specialised material and digital solutions for education, Praxis has built up a wealth of experience in learning content for youth and adult education over the years. And they have now combined that experience with the use of AI to optimise workflows and ensure more equal access to learning. Praxis is the first publisher in Denmark to implement a new AI language model, using a chatbot in their web books to help students navigate and search better in their learning materials. The chatbot can also ensure that students’ use of artificial intelligence is limited to the core subject matter they need to learn.
In addition, Praxis also works with the use of AI in their editorial work. Recently they have successfully used it for creating learning objectives for adaptive training modules, first read-throughs of manuscripts, marketing texts and glossaries for their web books. For this purpose, Praxis utilises Egmont’s own AI service, EgmontGPT, as an important, secure tool.
