Potential of young persons with learning difficulties

As the demands of the labour market for educational and professional qualifications rises, it gets even more important to pay attention to those with learning difficulties. “Havredals Praktiske Landbrugsskole” (an agricultural school) helps improve the potential of pupils with learning difficulties.

Havredal Practical Agricultural School is, in cooperation with the Psychology Institute at Århus University, working on a research project about young people with learning difficulties.

The aim is to scientifically examine and document the methods of the Agricultural School, in order for them to continually develop, and eventually, get a foothold within the traditional educational system.

The results will hopefully help many young persons with learning difficulties, to avoid the feeling of personal, social or professional inadequacy.
