The Egmont Foundation’s main areas of support are:
Project grants
The Egmont Foundation supports and initiates projects that aim to develop new models and methods that can serve as examples of best practice. In particular, the projects promote active and committed participation of vulnerable children and adolescents in society by strengthening their personal resources and breaking down social and cultural barriers.
Support to single-parent families
The Egmont Foundation offers support to single-parent families, and their children, through the General Social Subsidy Scheme and the Elisabeth Egmont-Petersen's Scheme. The origin of this support goes back to the Foundation’s first objectives from 1920.
Support for professional film making
The Nordisk Film Foundation is a part of the Egmont Foundation and its objective is to offer support to promote Danish films.
