On 23 November 1911 Egmont established the company Hjemmet. This was the beginning of a development that would make Egmont Hjemmet Mortensen the biggest publisher of weeklies and magazines in Norway. Today, Egmont HM publishes every second magazine title in Norway and focuses on a series of products on new platforms."No other media company reaches such a broad spectrum of the Norwegian population, We are dominating the parenting and home and interior areas and the last couple of years we have shown an incredible ability to renew ourselves," says Managing Director in Egmont Hjemmet Mortensen, Olav T. Sandnes.
The event will be celebrated tonight with a 100 year anniversary party for 500 guests in Det Norske Teatret.
