The first event saw Egmont’s amateur bakers compete against each other to find out who could produce the best Chocolate Brownie. Maria Walsh and Katie Bennett emerged as the queens of Brownie Land with their take on the classic sticky chocolate delight!

Event number two, dubbed the Character Showstopper, saw the company’s amateur cake decorators produce cakey works of art based on an Egmont character. Jen Hall won this festival of multi-coloured royal icing applied to moist sponge for her beautifully crafted Stripy Horse cake!

Egmontees paid to vote for the winners and consume vast quantities of baked delights.  A grand total of £405.13 was raised, a fantastic achievement for a very worthy cause.
