Ulrik Bülow to replace Jens Jordan as member of Egmont´s Board of Trustees

Jens Jordan, former head of Nordisk Film for 13 years and co-promoter of the merger with Egmont in 1992, has expressed his wish to resign from the Board of Trustees of the media group after an eight-year term. Jens Jordan has recommended his own successor, Ulrik Bülow, who is 15 years his junior. Ulrik Bülow has been appointed to the Board by unanimous agreement.

In 1990, Ulrik Bülow left Matas to join Egmont as head of the book division. In 1998, he left Egmont for a position in Sonofon A/S. He resigned from this position in 2003 after contributing to the successful development of the company. Ulrik Bülow brings experience from several other board memberships, including the board of Bryggerigruppen A/S. Ulrik Bülow has recently been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Danish Tourist Board.

In addition to Ulrik Bülow, Egmont’s Board of Trustees is composed of Ivar Samrén, Hans Egmont-Petersen, Mikael O. Olufsen, Steen Riisgaard and Niels Fisch-Thomsen, plus employee representatives Jan Bybjerg Jensen, Lisbeth Schrøder and Anna Lerche-Lerchenborg.
