Egmont’s Board of Trustees has chosen Torben Ballegaard Sørensen, CEO of Bang & Olufsen, as new member of the Board. Torben Ballegaard Sørensen replaces Hans Egmont-Petersen who has retired from the board after 27 years.
Torben Ballegaard Sørensen joined Bang & Olufsen as CEO in 2001. Previously, he has held prominent positions in e.g. Aarhuus Stiftsogtrykkerie and LEGO. Torben Ballegaard Sørensen is also member of the board of SimCorp A/S and LEGO Holding A/S.
Besides Torben Ballegaard Sørensen, Egmont’s Board of Trustees counts Ivar Samrén, Mikael O. Olufsen, Steen Riisgaard, Ulrik Bülow and Niels Fisch-Thomsen and the employee-elected representatives Jan Bybjerg Jensen and Anna von Lowzow.
