As of January 1st Nordisk Film will be closer to the lucrative American film market, when Head of Acquisitions, Kim Beich, exchanges his Copenhagen office for an equivalent in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles. The purpose is to bring the distribution unit of Nordisk Film closer to the main suppliers of the company – the big American independent production companies. By being physically present, Nordisk Film can develop even closer relations with already existing partnerships and extended co-operations with the many production companies in Hollywood, which will add value to the existing product portfolio.
Kim Beich (39) has been employed in Nordisk Film for nearly 16 years, and has worked with most aspects of film distribution. He constitutes an experienced capacity in charge of building closer connections between the Nordic distribution company and the American production companies, thereby securing Nordisk Film’s access to the best content in the future.
