Jan O. Frøshaug has informed the Board of Trustees of his desire to retire at the Annual Meeting of the Egmont Foundation in April after 14 years as Managing Director of the Egmont Foundation and CEO of the Egmont Group.
During Jan O. Frøshaug´s tenure Egmont has developed into Scandinavia´s largest Entertainment Media Group and Europe´s leading publisher of books and magazines for children.
The Board of Trustees accepts Jan O. Frøshaug´s decision and expresses their recognition of his contribution to the development of Egmont.
Jan O. Frøshaug will resign at the Annual Meeting of the Egmont Foundation at the end of April. The Board of Trustees will initiate an internal and external search for a new CEO for the Egmont Group.
