Ethical supply management at Egmont

In 2005, Egmont launched an ethical supply management program based on our Code of Conduct, the aim being to ensure that both Egmont and our business partners comply with ethical standards for human rights, working conditions and the environment.

However, formulating written guidelines for environmental and social standards is not enough on its own. Action is needed to turn words into deeds, and for this reason, Egmont works with external consultants who systematically make inspection visits to suppliers and business partners. Egmont subsequently engages in dialogue with our suppliers and business partners, working with them to find ways of rectifying any unacceptable conditions.
