The six conditions which have created the basis for the productions of Super 16 Year#4 are as follows: the film narrative must be contemporary, the film has to start with a goodbye, they must not contain flashbacks or voiceovers, the narrative must not cover more than three hours and the length of the film should not exceed 15 minutes. The result is eight gripping short films about love, deprivation and pretence.
The film reviewer of the Danish news paper gave the eight films four stars out of six possible.
Super 16 is an alternative film education. It is an association of young moviemakers, run by the moviemakers themselves. There is no headmaster and no administration. The name super 16 hints at the film type Super 16mm, and at the fact that every class consists of 8 directors and 8 producers.
