The sale of PSP – PlayStation Portable – starts in Europe today, Nordisk Film is in charge of the distribution in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland, and expect to sell 300,000 units before Christmas.

The handheld multimedia games machine is used for both 3D games, feature film, mp3 music and digital photos in better quality than ever. At the same time the PSP comes with a wireless network, which means you can play games against others online, surf the internet and download music, video clips and images.

”The PSP is the biggest revolution in mobile entertainment since the introduction of the walkman in 1979. Films, games, news and much more becomes available in a new way, as the PSP gives you access to entertainment anytime and anywhere, you’re no longer restricted by the TV, the computer or the cinema”, says Allan Hansen, General Manager of Nordisk Film Interactive.
