Opera on the big screen
Starting January 2007, Nordisk Film Cinemas will be showing six selected opera performances from one of the leading opera houses in the world: The New York Metropolitan Opera.
The performances are screened in the best digital quality with perfect sound and are especially produced for cinemas, which already have excellent acoustics. The first performance is Mozarts ’The Magic Flute’, which will be screened on Sunday, January 14. On Sunday, January 28, it will be ’I Puritani’ turn on the big screen. See the complete program on

”We are very happy and proud to present these fantastic opera performances to Danish opera lovers, who can now enjoy the biggest stars from the Met without getting on a plane to New York” says Lars Møller, Event Manager at Nordisk Film Cinemas.
