Nordisk Film to create online TV stations

Nordisk Film has entered into a new strategic cooperation with TBWA\PLAY. The new company, Nordisk Film\PLAY, will be developing online brand channels for companies.
Together with TBWA\PLAY, the digital division of the world-embracing advertising agency TBWA, Nordisk Film TV has established Nordisk Film\PLAY which will develop online TV-stations for companies and organizations at home and abroad.

Ambitions are high. Together, Nordisk Film TV and TBWA\PLAY will strive to make Nordisk Film a front runner within the development and production of so-called brand channels; the companies’ own online TV-stations directed at the consumers. Abroad, brand channels are expanding, while this new way of direct communication with the customers and users is still in its tender years in the Nordic countries.

Nordisk Film TV and TBWA\PLAY will accelerate the development by offering innovative, unique and concentrated brand channels for Danish and international companies. The constellation is a full-service agency, encompassing both content production and the technical platform for brand channels. Nordisk Film\PLAY, which is managed by Rasmus Steentoft, already collaborates with a number of big Danish companies with international activities.

Rasmus Steentoft, Director of Nordisk Film/PLAY, explains, “The traditional advertising strategies have begun to lose their effect and as a result, the companies are looking for new ways of getting in contact with their customers – a unique solution is brand channels.
