A total of 28,244 people went to the cinemas to experience the three 16-year-old actors Emma Leth, Amalie Lindegård and Cathrine Bjørn in the roles of three teenage girls, who challenge each other to become more grown-up.
This amazing result places “Supervoksen’s” opening as one of the best for at Danish teen-movie ever. In comparison, another Danish teen-flic, “Råzone” sold a little under 20,000 in its opening weekend a couple of months ago.
“Supervoksen” is the debut feature film for director Christina Rosendahl. The movie is produced by Nordisk Film’s Thomas Heinesen from a script by Mette Heeno.
