Egmont’s Turkish joint venture takes over publishing house
Dogan Egmont Publishing, Egmont’s joint venture with Dogan Media Group in Turkey, has taken over Dogan Kitap, a publishing house, which is the third largest in Turkey and publishes fiction and non-fiction books for adults.
Egmont teamed up with Dogan in 1996. The main focus so far has been children's magazines and books, but with the acquisition of Kitap Dogan Egmont Publishing is a full-fledged publishing house targeting audiences from 9 months to 90 years old.
