Egmont has a 50 % stake in the TV 2 Group. The TV 2 Group’s mission is to be the leading supplier of news, sports and entertainment as well as information and content services for electronic media platforms. The Group offers products and services through TV, teletext, radio, the Internet, web TV, cell phones and information screens.

The TV 2 Group’s headquarters are situated in Bergen, Norway, and employ a staff of approximately 900 people. In 2007 it generated revenue amounting to EUR 319 million.
