We co-own a range of e-commerce sites including jollyroom.no, which offers the largest selection of children's and baby products in the Nordic region; the Swedish site bagarenochkocken.se, which sells high-quality kitchen- and homeware throughout Scandinavia; the Danish health store med24.dk; and the Norwegian site fjellsport.no, which sells sporting and outdoor equipment and was voted Norwegian online 'Store of the Year' in the Sports and Leisure category by a shopping comparison site.
As well as publishing magazines and weeklies, Egmont Publishing also runs a substantial digital business that includes its content marketing business in Sweden, the content agency Klintberg/Nihlén and two Norwegian content marketing companies, Bonzaii and Sempro. You can read all our Danish magazines, weeklies and children's magazine titles – as well as several international publications – online. 2015 has seen the Danish launch of an 'All you can read' concept, a monthly subscription that gives online access to all our magazines for children and adults. Our Danish publishing company, Lindhardt og Ringhof, publishes most of our titles as print and e-books – allowing you to read detective stories, novels, children's books, biographies and business titles on a single, slim screen. In 2015 Lindhardt og Ringhof invited authors, translators, inheritors and other rights holders to join an initiative to publish older book titles as e-books on the publishing company's Sagabooks.dk platform. The aim is to digitise 15,000 works over the next two years.
Egmont supplies high-quality digital content for all ages and interests. For example, on kiddly.dk parents can help each other find the best digital entertainment for their children. Our popular apps Rasmus Klump, Pixeline and ABCity offer both fun and learning for the youngest set while you can read about the rich and famous on the reality site realityportalen.dk and stay abreast of world news and entertainment on the Norwegian site superlike.no.
TV 2 Norway is the largest multi-media house for the 20-49 age group in Norway. Commanding a 30% share, we provide news, sport and entertainment on the web, mobile devices, and eight TV channels, including Norway's largest streaming service, TV 2 Sumo. TV 2 Sumo lets you watch popular programmes from all TV 2's channels as well as the channel's own exclusive series content. TV 2's acquisition of C-More earlier this year gives Sumo viewers access to even more quality content, including popular films and series, and an extra shot of premium sport, for example, all Tippeligaen games. TV 2 also develops new broadcasting technology businesses such as Vimond, a company that creates solutions for distributing live and scheduled TV content at a profit.
The educational publisher Alinea delivers some of the best educational resources for professionals working with all age groups on all platforms. We make the materials versatile and accessible on various platforms so they can be adapted to the individual pupil, teacher and teaching approach – not vice-versa. We develop adaptive digital learning games for pre-schoolers and schoolchildren. The adaptive learning concept means that when a child answers correctly, the tasks set in the game get harder – if the child answers wrongly, they get easier.
