Entitled The 100-Minute Bible, the book is intended as a sampler that will make people want to read the whole work.
An English minister, the Rev. Michael Hinton, spent more than two years editing the biblical texts that go into this new edition of the Christian scriptures. He has decided to concentrate on the life and passion of Christ, but has also included many stories from the Old Testament, such as Noah’s ark. As the title indicates, the book can be read in a couple of hours, which makes it an entertaining and educational book choice for a train or plane trip.
The Newsstand Bible will be published in a print version and as an audiobook.
