Young Leaders Vote Egmont as Favourite Employer
The annual survey, Universum Young Professionals Survey Danmark, reveals that Egmont is among the top 20 when young, financially educated leaders choose their employer.
Every year the rating agency Universum examines who is considered the best employer among young, working academics.
This year Egmont hits the top 20 in two categories, as both the young leaders with financial as well as humanities educations have an eye on Egmont.
It’s the first time the young economist’s have chosen Egmont as one of Denmark’s twenty most eligible employers and Egmont now settles as the twentieth company on a list that includes companies such as Novo Nordisk, Carlsberg, A.P. Møller-Mærsk and Vestas.
Within the young leaders from humanities science Egmont is traditionally rated very high. That’s also true for this years rating where Egmont is named the fourth most eligible employer in Denmark. This is however not quite as good as the result from 2006 where Egmont was rated the second most popular employer in the category, but this year sees Novo Nordisk and Lego taking the top three along with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
Generally, the 2007-survey sees the elder companies, known for their values and rich in traditions, taking the lead. As an example Novo Nordisk is rated as the best employer by both the economists as well as the science educated young leaders.
Universum Young Professionals Survey Danmark is an annual survey that charts young working academics’ view on a range of employers. The young leaders are asked about their careers, working life and futures. This year 3397 young working academics below the age of 40, with 1- 8 years of work experience answered.
