On the earlier version of the website the target group was primarily business partners, the media, students and potential employees. The focus was business-to-business. The new website is developed in accordance with the concept business-to-people.
“We can see that the consumers are becoming more aware about the fact that Egmont is behind for example the magazine, the book or the DVD, which they buy. Therefore they more often use Egmont’s website, when they want to contact our companies”, says Vice President Corporate Communications, Sascha Amarasinha.
With the new website, which is both in English and Danish, it has become easier to get a general overview of Egmont and how to get in contact with the different products and companies. Still, the website contains factual background knowledge about the media group for those, who are looking for that.
